The starting point of the program is always the plot of a particular opera, which is presented in a lively manner by Katrin Lion. The versatile actress and singer knows very well how to incorporate a charming bon mot or come up with well-researched background information.
As a listener, you are taken on a highly dramatic journey from the "Flying Dutchman" to "Parsifal", "Tristan and Isolde" and the mighty tetralogy "The Ring of the Nibelung" to the "Meistersinger von Nürnberg". Power, love and betrayal in the most diverse constellations and often entangled situations.
