THEATER:

She made her acting debut as the chambermaid Babet in the comedy “Wie man Hasen jagt” by Fedeau at the Städtebundtheater Hof.

She sang and acted there for five years in the opera chorus (mezzo voice) and as a guest actress, including in Goethe's Reinecke Fuchs, Les Miserables


At the renowned Luisenburg Festival, Katrin Lion spent three years on stage as an actress and singer, performing alongside Günter Mack, Rainhard Fendrich, Wolfgang Ambros and Stefan Lehmann (Antenne Bayern) in Anatevka, Die Bernauerin, Schiller's Räubern and the cult musical "Der Watzmann ruft", among others.

This was followed by further engagements on theater stages (Landestheater Coburg...), the actress played the tough, masculine pirate bride Mary Read, in "Die Schatzinsel", as the graceful Pamina, she was seen in "Eine kleine Zauberflöte". This was followed by “Die Lokalbahn”, with the role of Susanna, at the Romantikbühne Bad Berneck.

TOURNEE:

Wolfgang Ambros engaged Katrin Lion from his Luisenburg production "Der Watzmann ruft" for his upcoming tour, as maid and queen d. Walpurgisnacht.

This was followed by a tour of Germany and Austria with the two Austropop legends Wolfgang Ambros (“Schifoan”) and Klaus Eberhartinger (EAV, Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung).

Film - Television:

She can be seen in the role of Kathrin Weiss in the feature film "Final Picture" (nuclear war drama), which won the Special Jury Award at the Germany International Film Festival in Munich and the Yellow Oscar at the Uranium Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro.


Katrin Lion has also acted in short films and film/TV productions for the early evening program on Sat.1 and VOX.


She was invited to present songs from her upcoming debut album at the “NATOURALE” Golden Lion film awards ceremony at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden. (Moderation Tamina Kallert, WDR "Wunderschön")


In productions by SRF, NECTV, iTV-Coburg, TVO and Radio Eins, Katrin Lion can be seen and heard as an actress and speaker in image films and as a singer in the Christmas program "Coltur".

HOST/PRESENTER:

She is in front of the camera as a presenter, together with Andreas Leopold Schadt (Frankentatort commissioner) for the TV moderation of the "Coburger Medienpreisverleihung" (international and national prize for journalists).


Katrin Lion has worked as a presenter for well-known theatres and event organizers, including the Herkulessaal of the Munich Residence, Seeon Monastery and the Richard Wagner Association in Nuremberg.

 

VOICE ACTRESS:

As a narrator she can be heard in radio commercials, documentaries, radio plays, audio books, audio travel guides and telephone announcements.

Due to her immensely versatile voice for trick voices, various accents and in Bavarian. She has been regularly booked as a voice actress for the world market leader Hofmann Figuren for animatronic productions since 2020.

Katrin Lion also wrote and produced 12 radio commercials for the company Wirth GmbH. She also sends out orders from her own studio.
